REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. — Ring designer Wesley Glebe will show his new line of one-of-a-kind rings at an opening at Heidi Lowe Gallery from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10. Glebe’s signature rings are known worldwide for their high quality materials and unique designs, where parts of the rings move and are kinetic. “Wesley Glebe is a staple of Heidi Lowe Gallery,” gallery owner Lowe said. “Many people have bought them as wedding bands, and they are especially a hit with same-sex couples planning weddings and civil union ceremonies. Glebe’s new collection is still inspired by the machines that make his jewelry, but he has taken these new pieces to the next level. He is still using the best-of-the-best jewels and metals, but using them in unexpected ways. I think the rings are modern but wearable, and are items that our customers will treasure forever.” Glebe, of Wes and Gold, will be personally available all day Saturday, and on Sunday by appointment, to discuss the 500 rings available at the trunk show. They are made of titanium, gold, stainless steel, and diamonds, and are appropriate for men and women. Heidi Lowe Gallery is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. For more information, contact Lowe at 302-227-9203 or visit www.heidilowejewelry.com. Heidi Lowe Gallery is the little yellow cottage at 328 Rehoboth Ave. in Rehoboth Beach. Its namesake opened the gallery in 2005 to the pleasure of every bare neck, wrist, finger, and earlobe at the Delaware shore. The gallery specializes in art jewelry, which is jewelry made by a studio artist. Rehoboth Beach native Lowe also creates her own innovative jewelry line and teaches private lessons on premises. This art show is held in conjunction with the gallery collective Mosaic. Mosaic was founded in 2008 to promote a heightened awareness of the emerging Rehoboth Beach art scene. The group hosts a free art walk in downtown Rehoboth Beach every second Saturday of the month and other events throughout the year. Visit www.mosaicrehoboth.com for more information.
Local artists Logan Lark and James Kovalenko pass canvases back and forth in an artistic collaboration with exciting results. Meet the artists at Josephine's Daughter, Friday, Sept 30th, from 4-7 pm. Great art, conversation & refreshments. See our facebook page for a preview!
