Gallery 50 is a contemporary art gallery located in the heart of Rehoboth Beach and represents over 30 artists. The gallery hosts shows year round highlighting different artists and also takes part in Mosaic's Second Saturday Art Walks. The gallery also hosts film screenings and book signings and is available for private events. In time for the holidays, Heidi Lowe Gallery offers do-it-yourself jewelry to create one-of-a-kind pieces for family and friends. The gallery’s do-it-yourself jewelry studio allows customers to create charm necklaces with any word or phrase of their choosing. The charm pendants range in a variety of different shapes and sizes, including hearts. Those aged 12 and older can stamp the text into the metal and create unique necklaces. “I receive many requests for jewelry making classes and this is a quick, easy, and affordable way to make your own necklace,” gallery owner Lowe said. “You can send a short and sweet message to your mom, sister, daughter, or wife with one of these charm necklaces. You can also say that you made it yourself!” Charm pendants range in price from $20 to $45. Chains cost from $15 to $20. The do-it-yourself jewelry studio will be available until Dec. 31. The gallery’s largest jewelry show of the year, “Multiples,” which showcases dozens of artists, is also up until Dec. 31. Heidi Lowe Gallery is the little yellow cottage at 328 Rehoboth Ave. in Rehoboth Beach. Its namesake opened the gallery in 2005 to the pleasure of every bare neck, wrist, finger, and earlobe at the Delaware shore. The gallery specializes in art jewelry, which is jewelry made by a studio artist. Rehoboth Beach native Lowe also creates her own innovative jewelry line and teaches private lessons on premises.
