Downtown Rehoboth Goes WILD for the holidays!


Holiday Tree Lighting & Sing-a-Long – November 28 - Capping the “Black Friday” shopping day, gather at the bandstand for the holiday tree lighting and to sing holiday songs. It’s a hometown tradition!

Holiday Farmer's Market – December 7 - Grove Park, 1-3:30 p.m. Fresh wreaths, garland, cheese and fruit baskets and more.

Community Unity Spaghetti Dinner - December 7 - at the Convention Center, presented by Main Street and provided by the famous Nicola's Pizza. It's a fantastic meal, featuring spaghetti, meatballs, a salad bar, beverages and awesome desserts. There is entertainment by the Tim Laushey Trio plus a Singing Santa for kids of all ages. Tickets are $8, with seniors at $5. Kids under 12 eat FREE. Also at Community Unity, Main Street bestows its Citizen of the Year Award. Come dine with us! Call 302-227-2772 for details. 

Hometown Christmas Parade - December 8 - Monday evening along Rehoboth Avenue beginning at 6:30 p.m. A local tradition, the parade will feature more music, more costumes and more fun than ever, with volunteers from the Fire Department, Police, Public Works and community organizations. Dozens of local groups, bands and participants have already signed up. Line-up starts at 4:00 The parade begins at State Road, travels East to the Boardwalk and the turns West and goes back up to the Convention Center. Parade entrants are judged, with prizes awarded at the Christmas Party immediately following the parade at Convention Hall. Youngsters can chat with Santa and light refreshments will be served. Groups and individuals wanting entry information should call the Hometown Parade voice mail at 302-441-8615 or e-mail rmillman@cityofrehoboth.com for an application.

Hospitality Night - Thursday, December 11 - Downtown shops open 5-8pm, music and fun all around! Free Horse & Buggy rides. Discounts at restaurants. Meet and greet our shopkeepers, enjoy refreshments and SHOP,SHOP,SHOP tax free! Look for the beacon in the sky!
