Inaugural Chef Showdown: Rehoboth Meets Mardi Gras
From 11am-2pm at CAMP Rehoboth, 37 Baltimore Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware 19971: Culinary competition featuring Jay Caputo (Espuma, Porcini House); Ian Crandall (Kindle); Kevin Reading (Nage). Judges include well-known area celebrities, a bona fide New Orleans foodie and one lucky attendee who will serve as “people’s choice judge”. Gumbo Cook-Off: A Main Street Event
At participating restaurants. Get an official ballot from Main Street or they will be sold on the day of the cook-off at many participating restaurants. 2009 Chocolate Festival & Baking Contest
Held at Rehoboth Beach Convention Center. It's a chocolate lover's delight. 6th Annual Walk for the Animals at the Beach

Fireworks 2009!
A Main Street Event: Fireworks 2009 Fireworks to be launched from the beach & seen all up and down the Boardwalk & shoreline. Fireworks time is approximately 9:15. Come into town the easy way - take the Shuttle from Route One at County Bank, beginning at 5 p.m. Jolly Trolley Shuttle Service will operate 8:00 AM until about 2:00 AM. The Annual Main Street Fireworks Display is funded entirely through donations from the citizens and businesses of the Rehoboth Beach area. 2009 AIDS Walk in Rehoboth Beach
2009 AIDS Walk in Rehoboth Beach on October 4, 2009! Registration for the Walk will start at approximately noon at Grove Park. Walkers will step-off at 2:00 PM, proceed down Rehoboth Avenue to Scarborough Avenue, down Lake Street to Queen Street, and walk the length of the boardwalk before making their way back to Grove Park via Henlopen Avenue. About 5,500 walkers raised funds and enjoyed a day in Rockford Park, Silver Lake Recreation Area and Grove Park. The 2008 Rehoboth Walk saw unprecedented numbers of schools; churches and organizations (not to mention individual walkers) come out for routes that took them through towns and by the sea. Our thanks to all and we look forward to seeing you in 2009!

Community Unity Spaghetti Dinner: A Main Street Event
Community Unity Spaghetti Dinner - December 6 from 4:00 PM- 7:00 PM- at the Convention Center, presented by Main Street and provided by the famous Nicola's Pizza. It's a fantastic meal, featuring spaghetti, meatballs, a salad bar, beverages and awesome desserts. There is entertainment by the Tim Laushey Trio plus a Santa for kids of all ages.
