2010 Chocolate Festival
Held at Rehoboth Beach Convention Center. It's a chocolate lover's delight. From 11:30 am- 3:30 p.m. (or when the chocolate runs out!) there will be family fun, great vendors, baking contest and tastes of sinful desserts baked by some of the finest restaurants, chefs and chocoholics in Rehoboth and Lewes. Polar Bear Plunge
Polar Bear Plunge off the Boardwalk at Delaware Avenue to benefit Special Olympics. Participate in an ice sculpting contest from 1:00 PM-Judging, 5K Run to the Plunge at 2:00 PM, Chili Contest from 4-6PM, Build a Polar Bear (all day), and receive Polar Bear Discounts around town! Plein Air PAINT-OUT Weekend May 7-9
Main Street and the Rehoboth Art League team up for a fantastic weekend of art and art sales. Over 20 painters from all over the region converge on Downtown Rehoboth Beach to set up easels and paint outdoor sights, starting with a Pre-Party at Aerie Art Gallery. There will be a show and sale on Sunday evening. Also included in the weekend, MOSAIC Art Walk, local artist displays, and "Amateur’s Quick Draw". Thanks to Community Bank for sponsoring this event. Fireworks 2010!
A Main Street Event: Fireworks 2010 Fireworks to be launched from the beach & seen all up and down the Boardwalk & shoreline. Fireworks time is approximately 9:15. Come into town the easy way - take the Shuttle from Route One at County Bank, beginning at 5 p.m. Jolly Trolley Shuttle Service will operate 8:00 AM until about 2:00 AM. The Annual Main Street Fireworks Display is funded entirely through donations from the citizens and businesses of the Rehoboth Beach area. Community Unity Spaghetti Dinner: A Main Street Event
Community Unity Spaghetti Dinner - December 5 from 4:00 PM- 7:00 PM- at the Convention Center, presented by Main Street and provided by the famous Nicola's Pizza. It's a fantastic meal, featuring spaghetti, meatballs, a salad bar, beverages and awesome desserts. There is entertainment by the Tim Laushey Trio plus a Santa for kids of all ages.
