Fireworks 2009!
A Main Street Event: Fireworks 2009 Fireworks to be launched from the beach & seen all up and down the Boardwalk & shoreline. Fireworks time is approximately 9:15. Come into town the easy way - take the Shuttle from Route One at County Bank, beginning at 5 p.m. Jolly Trolley Shuttle Service will operate 8:00 AM until about 2:00 AM. Delmarva Piano Festival
Pianists Mark Salman, Alexandra Eames, Eileen Hutchins, and Nathan Buckner will join forces in Rehoboth Beach on Saturday, July 11, 8 p.m. and July 12, 4 p.m. to present the seventeenth annual Delmarva Piano Festival. This unique event is devoted exclusively to piano music. The four pianists will share each program. This season's festival is presented by Ms. Gwynne McDevitt and CAMP Rehoboth. The concerts will take place at CAMP Rehoboth Community Center, located at 37 Baltimore Avenue in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, on Saturday July 11 at 8 p.m. and on Sunday July 12 at 4 p.m. Admission is $20 for each concert. 2009 AIDS Walk in Rehoboth Beach
2009 AIDS Walk in Rehoboth Beach on October 4, 2009! Registration for the Walk will start at approximately noon at Grove Park. Walkers will step-off at 2:00 PM, proceed down Rehoboth Avenue to Scarborough Avenue, down Lake Street to Queen Street, and walk the length of the boardwalk before making their way back to Grove Park via Henlopen Avenue. About 5,500 walkers raised funds and enjoyed a day in Rockford Park, Silver Lake Recreation Area and Grove Park. The 2008 Rehoboth Walk saw unprecedented numbers of schools; churches and organizations (not to mention individual walkers) come out for routes that took them through towns and by the sea.
